HOW TO TELL WHEN YOU NEED A BRAKE FLUID FLUSH

Five Signs You Are Due for a Brake Fluid Flush

  • You need to press your brake further down towards the floor. This is a possible result of brake fluid leaking air into the system.

  • Spongy brakes. Visual of clear, amber, or brown fluid leaking below your car. Possible brake fluid leaking. Leaking calipers.

  • Brake light or check brake message coming on could indicate a needing to get your brake lines replaced or inspected.

  • Strange noise or smell when braking. If you notice strange sounds when braking, this could be caused by low brake fluid. If there is a burning smell from braking hard, you should pull over your vehicle into a safe place and give the brakes time to cool down.

  • If you're still unsure if you need a brake fluid flush, give Nevada Mobile Brakes a call, we check the brakes during our inspection to getting you back on the road safely.
